How do I create an App Password with Google

App Passwords are used to login to accounts that will not accept 2 Step verification. Outlook and iOS both use App passwords for verification when 2 step is enabled.

1. Visit https://myaccount.google.com/ and login with your google or GSuite Password.
2. Click Security in the Menu
   1. Desktop: On the left hand side menu click Security
   2. Mobile: Slide the menu at the top to the left and click Security
3. Under Signing in to Google click App Passwords
   1. You will need to sign in again.
4. On the App passwords screen choose the following
   1. Select App (This is the app you want to create a password for)
   2. Select Device (The device you will be using the password on)
5. Click Generate
6. Copy the password to your notes or write down your App password
7. When your phone asks for a CardDAV password, paste or enter this password
8. Each app password is unique and can only be used for 1 app.
